Originally belonging to my friend's grandparents, this "Antique Celluloid Plastic Carnival Prize Parrot Cockatoo Balancing Bird Toy Rattle" dates to the mid-1920s.  Found in a box of 1920s memorabilia which was stored in her mother's attic, I am helping her clear out and sell several generations of things that ended up stored there; this toy comes from a smoke-free, pet-free home.  In EXCELLENT Condition, there are NO splits, cracks, dents or other damage.  With a height of approximately 3 1/4th inches, the body has a diameter of approximately 3/4ths of an inch; it is NOT Marked.  



This 1920s Carnival Souvenir Celluloid Balancing Bird Rattle Toy has nice molded detailing and small beads inside that make it rattle when it is moved.  Designed to perch on the side rim of a glass or cup, curtain rod or other narrow open edge, it sits by using the curved "hook" on the underside.
