I obtained about 80 tube radios from an estate sale.  SOME VERY RARE.  I will be listing these over the next few weeks so please see my other listings.

THIS ONE YOU DO NOT SEE OFTER....ESPECIALLY WITH THE ORIGINAL ANTENNA AND BATTERY!!

1950's BF Goodrich Mantola model 4662N.  Portable suitcase type radio.

Condition:  The copper colored face area is in fantastic condition with no cracks or chips.  The bakelite handle is still nice and strong with no cracks.  The body has signs of age here and there such as pealing of the covering and some discolor.  (see pictures)  Both original bakelite knobs are still there and rotate as they should.  The front and rear doors still open and close as they should.  The front door latch locks the door in place.  The battery cardboard is still nice and bright with no rips.  The antenna also is in good shape as seen in pictures.  It is 11" tall, 12 1/2" wide, and 6 1/2" deep.  When plugged in and while tuning I did hear static only which could be because of my country location.  It may need some maintenance.

Recover then sell for twice as much?  Just the battery in this would make a great display piece!

It will be protected well and insured.  I cannot ship this to a PO box if you are in Pacific, Mountain, or Central time zones.
