This vintage copy of Estimates of Worker Trait Requirements for 4,000 Jobs as Defined in the Dictionary of Occupational Titles: An Alphabetical Index is a rare book to find.  It is published by the U.S. Department of Labor, Bureau of Employment Security in 1956.  It is written by the United States Employment Service.  Quite a bit of unique and quite usable data, even for its age.  Each job listed is considered by training time required, aptitudes, temperaments, interests, physical capacities, and working conditions.  The 4,000 jobs are certainly a wide range of occupations, literally from Able Seaman to Zoologist.  A wealth of information in one place for sure.
