Four psychiatrists are kidnapped in the middle of the night by a Native American Vietnam veteran. He drives them deep into the desert for putting him away in the mental hospital from which he escaped. The three men and one woman encounter unbearable heat, a lack of food and water, personal injuries, and dangerous animals. All while being taunted by Indian witchcraft from afar.
