Brand new factory sealed dvd.

American music video director Alex Ritt (SGT. KABUKIMAN's Rick Gianasi) is offered a lot of money to come to Rome and direct a video for Italian pop senastion Stefania Stella. Ritt accepts, and the American soon finds himself in a magical, surreal Rome, full of history, strange characters, dark catacombs, old libraries and eternal secrets. Not long after his arrival, Ritt witnesses the murder of a girl scheduled to dance in his video, but when he returns with the police, the corpse has vanished.

Investigating officer Bonnelli (the BEYOND's David Warbeck) gets more to go on when a caller tells the police where to find a videotape with footage of the murder. Bonnelli learns from the FBI that a psychopath (nicknamed "the Video Killer") using the same MO operated in America a few years ago, and that the third of his five victims was Ritt's wife (with her death occuring just before their planned divorce).

Another murder occurs and this prompts the arrival of serial killer expert Professor Robinson (Donald Pleasance) and parapsychologist Wendy Williams (Linnea Quigley). Williams tells Ritt of a painting by Andrea Pisani, a madman who butchered women and used their blood for his canvases, supposedly at the behest of evil spirits.

Gradually, it dawns on Ritt that he is the victim of a conspiracy that may involve Stefania. The film ended up being the final curtain call for both actors Donald Pleasance and co-star Rossano Brazi. The director also composed the Claudio Simonetti-style score.
