Description:  The cover illustration of this book features a woman in traditional Mammy dress -- of interest to collectors of historical Black Americana items.  This charming vintage cookbook from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina is full of delicious recipes!  There are 328 pages of southern recipes.  The recipes were hand lettered and then printed, as seen in photos.   A few sample recipes include:  Southern Spiced Tea, Canape of Roquefort Cheese, Rice Pilaf, Pine Bark Stew, Fish Stew, Curried Shrimp, Oysters Casino, Chicken A La King, Brunswick Stew, Cranberry Salad, Christmas Salad, Cocoa Fudge Layer Cake, Cake with Icing Baked at the Same Time, Old Fashioned Fruit Cake, and more.  There is a short section in the back of book:  A Glimpse of Myrtle Beach History, and there is an index of recipes. 

Condition:  Cover has original $3.95 price sticker.  Pages of book extend a little past the covers, as frequently seen in older paperback spiral bound cookbooks.  Some tan spots at bottom edge of back cover.
