RE-BIRTH & OUT OF THE DEEPS by John Wyndham              Ballantine Books, 1st pr. & 2nd U.S. pb printing, 1955 & 1961    Condition:  Very Good Minus                                                                                                                                                              RE-BIRTH was published in the U.K. as THE CHRYSALIDS five months after this U.S. 1st printing.  DEEPS was first published in the UK. as THE KRAKEN WAKES in 1953.  Both pbs have lower spine slits and some upper spine end wear, as well as modest corner/edge wear.  DEEPS also has  corner creases and a name on the cover back.  RE-BIRTH has a store stamp and light marks on the lower page edges.  Both have secure bindings and light page toning.
