Brand new factory sealed vhs tape, pop-n-go retro video, no menus. This is the original theatrical version and not the 2002 CGI tampered with version. The newer version has added a computer animated ET to some scenes that doesn't quite mesh with the original.

It has also cowardly bowed to political correctness and removed the guns from agents hands and replaced them with walkie talkies. This deflates the urgency and danger that the scenes had before. Again, this is not that version.

This is also fullscreen which is no longer available due to the popularity of widescreen television sets. Also, the uncompressed audio is superior to the digital counterpart. This is the original version as originally intended.
