This is a gorgeous vintage vibrant and bright green lime or peridot green brooch/pin and matching domed clip earrings in enamel over metal. The solid enamel enhances the green stones and adds texture to the dimensional design. The brooch set almost looks as though it was dipped in the enamel it is on so nice and thick. The brooch is a wonderful example of pierced metal work with detailed fancy edging. The stones are a combination of round chatons and marquise shaped navettes. This striking brooch measures 2 ½ inches by 2 ½ inches and the clip earrings are 1 inch in diameter. It is a substantial set and weighs 1.5 ounces on my postage scale, which converts to 42.52 grams. This same set in light pink is featured on page 88 of the book "Unsigned Beauties of Costume Jewelry" by Marcia "Sparkles" Brown. The book is the 2000 edition with the values updated for 2005. 

This beautiful set is in excellent vintage condition with a lovely finish as you can see by the enlarged pictures. The enamel is quite bright and is a fantastic shade of green you won't see very often. The pin and safety catch work perfectly and the earring clips hold securely. Even the clips on the back of the earrings are green. All the rhinestones are present and sparkling. There is a little of the enamel worn off on the back of the metal clip (see photos).

This superb demi parure set would be a wonderful treasure to add to your collection of vintage enamel jewelry. It is a perfect bright color that will look great with all your spring and summer outfits.
