William Holden stars in a foreign made film with a Britsh director, Terrence Young. Tearjerker about an estranged father and young son reunited on a Corsican vacation. While the pair are diving off the coast, the boy is accidently exposed to radiation.

Their newfound joy is soured by the fact that the boy only has a few months to live. William Holden is determined to make them the best and happiest of his short life. He meets his son's every wish including a blue tractor and a pair of wolves from the zoo. The boy's gentleness tames the savage wolves and they become his loyal pets.
