Product description: George W. Carroll was born in Waltham, Mass. with a musical heritage on both sides of the family. George''s father composed music and was proficient in piano, reed instruments, and voice. George''s grandmother was an accomplished vocalist. So, it was quite natural for George to evolve into his present state of journeyman musician, composer of songs, jazz pianist, and vocalist. Carroll attended The Berklee College Of Music for piano, voice, and harmony. Later, he attended The Phil Saltman Studios four years studying voice bel-canto style. His Bachelor''s degree is from Salem State College in Massachusetts, for music and journalism. During his musical journey, he has had many career highlights, one of which was meeting and conversing with Tony Bennett at The Music Circus in Cohasset, Mass. ''Bennett told me to love what you do and never compromise your music.'' George W. Carroll has always held true to that philosophy .
