This is a vintage original 27x41 in. US one-sheet poster from the 1950's action/adventure fantasy, SABU AND THE MAGIC RING, released in 1957 by Allied Artists Corp. and directed by George Blair. Based upon The Arabian Nights, Sabu, the caliph's elephant boy, finds a ring which he need only rub to summon a huge genie, Ubal (William Marshall), ready to answer his every wish. Strange adventures and many perils confront Sabu and Zumeela (Daria Massey) as they lose the magic spell when a goose swallows the ring. The cast includes John Doucette, Peter Mamakos, and Vladimir Sokoloff.

This very colorful one-sheet poster features a close shot of Sabu near a large image of the genie, Ubal (William Marshall), with six scenes along the right border with a scene of Sabu and Zumeela (Daria Massey) riding on a flying carpet above an open market. This vintage original one-sheet poster is urestored and folded as originally issued. It is in very good- condition with a Canadian censor stamp to the left of Marshall's feet; chips of varying sizes on the top right and bottom left corners; corner pinholes; a light water stain along the bottom edge; random signs of wear in the borders; and a small area of separation on the bottom crossfold. The rich color tints are fresh and vibrant without any signs of fading.

Actor William Marshall is perhaps best remembered today for his titular performance as Blacula (1972).
