When I sat down with my bag of fabrics, I found so many vibrant reds and blues that wanted to go together. This tree on a hill, with gingko leaves (though they only turn from green to yellow in the real world!) its blue textured tree trunk, a lawn of red contrasting with the blue lake, bordered by red grass and blue shrubbery, it all came together in a strikingly balanced scene.

My artwork is mounted on foam core, which creates a light-weight but rigid piece with a wire for hanging and  a felt backing. It is treated with a sun-block spray, although prolonged exposure to direct sunlight may eventually cause fading.
