For your consideration, here is a Vintage Clarence A. O'Brien Patent Attorney  Advertising Letter Opener, from Washington, DC.  It has some wear and tarnish on it.  It measures 7 7/8 inches long and 1 1/8 inches, at the widest.  I belive it dates to the 1930's or 1940's.  The patent search fee mentioned is $15.  It will be mailed in a box for protection.  Item pictured is the actual item up for sale and comes from a non-smoking household.  (555.17q-.7bb)
