Vintage 8x10 in. US single-weight glossy copy photograph (not a vintage original photo printed at the time it was taken) from the classic silent film melodrama/romance, THE SHEIK, released in 1921 by Paramount Pictures and directed by George Melford. Based upon the novel by Edith Maude Hull, a charming Arabian sheik (Rudolph Valentino) becomes infatuated with an adventurous, modern-thinking Englishwoman (Agnes Ayres) and abducts her to his home in the Saharan desert.

The image features a beautiful nighttime shot of  Lady Diana Mayo (Agnes Ayres) happily holding the hand of her husband, Sheik Ahmed Ben Hassan (Rudolph Valentino), outside their Saharan desert oasis. Printed most likely in the 1980's, it is in very fine+ condition without any pinholes, tears, creases, or other flaws.
