Still in ORIGINAL SHRINK-WRAP (opened). Vinyl plays nicely (play-graded). Cover looks great; a couple creases near edges; surface impressions where sections of shrink are missing and no scuffing (front/back); spot where gloss has been removed near top-right on front. Inner-sleeve is original (credits/artwork); seams split or partially split. Spine is easy-to-read with very mild-wear. Little shelf-wear along top/bottom-edge; some wear to corners. Opening is crisp with signs of some use and slight rippling. (Not a cut-out.)
Heartlight is the fifteenth studio album by Neil Diamond. It was released in 1982 on Columbia Records. The album contains the song Heartlight, which reached No. 5 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and No. 1 on the adult contemporary chart in late 1982. The song is inspired by the blockbuster movie E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, which songwriters Diamond, Carol Bayer Sager and Burt Bacharach had all seen together. When E.T. leaves Earth, his heart glows a luminous red, hence the title of the song. The album has been certified platinum in the US. Many of the album's songs were written by Diamond and Burt Bacharach.
