Tests receptive vocabulary and gives information about speech defects; possible learning disorders, e.g. hearing loss and imperceptions of auditory modality (discimination of sounds and auditory memory); a bilingual child's fluency in English; auditory processing (translating processed auditory matter verbally); and auditory visual-verbal association ability. May be used to test a child's readiness for kindergarten. For children age 2-12. Approximate testing time 7-15 min.
