The book has no: remainder mark, any internal markings, any previous owner’s name or unpleasant odor.  The book appears to be unread.

Please note that this is an ex-library book.  However, it does not bear any of the customary library markings other than a “Withdrawn” stamp and sticker on the first blank page of the book.  Other than this stamp/sticker, there is no evidence that this is a former library book or any other evidence of any prior ownership or use.  This book is extremely clean and is either unread or has been very gently handled.  Consider covering this stamp/sticker with your own personal bookplate.

The pages of the book are clean and mark free.

The outside edges of the pages exhibit no soiling and no foxing whatsoever.  The outer page edges are of a premium rough deckle cut.

The boards and the binding are in good solid condition.  The boards have four areas of faint tape residue where library tape was once applied and then removed.  There is no other tape residue on the book or the jacket.

The front and rear blank white endpapers are clean and mark free, other than the aforementioned withdrawn stamp/sticker.

The dust jacket does not have any tears, rips or chips.

The jacket exhibits extremely light to no shelf wear.

The jacket has not been clipped – it is clean and fully intact.

The jacket has no stickers or any sticker residue.

This is a mark free odor free first edition, quite clean and solid.  Other than the sticker/stamp on the first blank end paper and the slight tape residue on the boards, the book could easily be listed as brand new.
