Description
This is a 1979 Goebel paperweight that was the first in a series of egg-shaped crystal Easter items. It features a called Chariottenhutte (chariot's hat in English). The bottom is marked with a Goebel W Germany paper tag.
The glass is frosted, and the year appears in the glass on the side.
SIZE: This paperweight is about 3 1/4" wide and 2 7/8" tall.
CONDITION: The paperweights I'm listing have been displayed but are not damaged. I have examined them both visually and with my fingers; some have extremely minor artifacts that are the result of being hand made.
BACKGROUND: I recently bought a number of things from the estate of a neighbor who had several thousand figurines, many figural boxes and paperweights, and huge glass and china collections from many different makers. I'll be listing more things from this purchase over the next several weeks.
