Vintage original "Shoot Draft" script from the popular 2000's comedy series, SECOND TIME AROUND, executive-produced by Ralph R. Farquhar and Claude Brooks, and centers around an African-American couple (Nicole Parker and Boris Kodjoe) who decide to give marriage a second chance with one another after failing at it the first time around. The cast includes Brian White, Danielle Nicolet, Melissa De Sousa, Tasha Smith, Lindsey Stoddart, Jeff Harlan, Keke Palmer, and Denver Dowridge.
It is Season One, Episode 006 (which was actually broadcast as Episode 11), Big Bank, Little Bank, written by Kenny Smith. The story itself is in two acts and consists of 38 pages that include an opening "teaser" scene and a closing "tag" scene. The story is preceded by a one-page Tentative Production Schedule; a Cast, Sets, SFX, and Music Cue page; and a two-page Short Rundown. Following the final page of the "tag" scene is one page with lyrics from the song, "If It Isn't Love," by New Edition.
As indicated by a small white label affixed to the top right corner of the front cover, this script belong to cast member Brian White, who portrayed "Nigel Muse." The front cover is printed on a slightly thicker light gray cardstock and there is no corresponding back cover. There are two handwritten notes in blue ballpoint pen on the front cover that were mostly likely penned by Brian White himself. To the best of our knowledge, other than a possible missing back cover, this script is complete in very fine- condition with some waviness on the last 7 pages, with a larger amount on the last 3 pages.
