CAVEMAN TYPE FIGURINE
This is a unique vintage toy.
Caveman or Indigenous Native (roughly Aboriginal appearance) wearing a war club at side and holding a rock overhead, ostensibly as a weapon.
Found with a lot of marbles and other small toys from the early 1960s.
I can’t find another toy figurine quite like this, but have found some roughly similar ones from 1963.
It stands on its own, but not well. You can tell from marks on the back of both heels that it used to be affixed to something and the other old ones I have seen online have flat bases affixed to them. At some point, this one was broken off from that, or intentionally removed.
No manufacturer marks anywhere. I do not know the origin or facts around its distribution. Appears to be made of plastic.
If you have information on this, that would aide in my description of it, I would love to hear from you.
Overall good condition other than the comments above about being detached from original base. Also, not sure if paint has flecked off from this or if it was created as 2 different colors. Please view pictures carefully and purchase accordingly.
About 2 oe inches tall and about 1 inch wide at the widest point.
Based on scarcity alone, I would assume that this is highly collectible.
Fantastic gift for the vintage toy collector in your life!!!!!
