This vintage plaid computer or messenger bag, designed by Ralph Lauren, is becoming increasingly difficult to find.
Constructed from durable coated canvas, the bag is robust, while the shoulder strap and trimmings are crafted from leather.
Due to its age, the bag exhibits visible signs of wear and imperfections, including discoloration on the strap and scratches on the metal logo.
The leather trimming along the outer flap closure shows signs of wear, although the inner leather trimming remains intact.
I have documented the damaged leather trimming with photographs taken both with and without the camera flash.
The exterior features two spacious pockets, one of which has noticeable white marks on a corner, and there are slight markings on the outer back pocket.
The shoulder strap is adjustable but cannot be detached. Notably, the original bag brush remains attached.
Despite its flaws and years of use, this bag has the potential for continued durability. I will consistently apply leather conditioner until it finds a new owner.
