Description
Offered here is this nice Vintage Free Standing Frame. This little piece is in very good condition, although there are some light scuffs to the finish. The frame looks hand made to me. The frame is made of wood, with a center space for a display piece. Now, there is a piece of antique china in the space. It is a butter pat plate, and is painted with a lovely portrait of a well dressed woman. The plate has been glued into place. It has been broken, and glued back together, as evidenced by the crack running across it from side to side. I am unsure of the age or origins of the frame or the china piece in the center. The center of the piece is made to swivel, like the old mirrors that would be mounted on a high boy or dresser. The entire piece is 8.5" tall, 8" across, 2.5" deep, with the little display area being about 2" in diameter. It is a lovely little free standing frame. It would be a nice little display piece.
