Vintage Fisher Price Fun- with- Food #2111 Simmering Saucepan Playset COMPLETE/VG+-VG++!

Vintage Fisher Price Fun with Food #211 Simmering Saucepan Play Set Complete (More photos below)

In 1987, Fisher Price introduced its wildly popular Fun- with- Food series. Produced for a total of 4 years, the #2111 Simmering Saucepan Playset features a see thru pan with water and seasonings trapped inside the walls of the pan. When shaken, the particles and liquid move about to simulate a realistic boiling action. This great little saucepan requires no batteries or heat. In my opinion, the saucepan is in VG+-VG++ condition. Note: This is the 1989-90 version of this set. The original 1987 version did not contain the blue bowl or white spoon. Later 1989 and 1990 versions included both of these. I have configured this offering to conform with the 1989-90 Fisher Price specifications.

1 HTF Simmering Saucepan (VG+-VG++-fluid level between the clear walls may be slightly lower than when originally manufactured; at present, I'm guessing it's approximately 1/2" in depth; I'm not sure what the original depth was; the saucepan displays some minor wear on the rim on the bottom of the pot, some soiling, and some staining; I believe the soiling and staining will come off during the cleaning process;

Other accessories accompanying this MAGICAL set are:

1 HTF Alphabet Soup Can with litho (NEAR MINT--some light puckering of the litho to the right of the word "Alphabet" on the label);

1 RARE orange plastic lid for the Alphabet Soup Can (VG++-some surface scratches and scuffs; NOTE: these lids were often lost during the years and it's rare to find one to match the can);

5 RARE strands of alphabet soup letters which store inside the aforementioned can; these come in all different colors and with different letter combinations (EXC++-NEAR MINT; the groupings and colors are as follows: white A,B, C--MINT; green D, E, F --MINT; light orange G, H, I --EXC--two miniscule hair-line scratches-- one on each side; lime green J,K, L---EXC ---a few light scuffs and surface scratches; yellow X,Y,Z--EXC++);

1 VHTF red-orange ladle with Fisher Price on the handle (EXC++--light surface scratches);

1 RARE red-orange pepper shaker (MINT);

1 RARE yellow salt shaker (MINT);

1 RARE blue bowl marked Fisher Price on the bottom (NEAR MINT--scuff on exterior side of the bowl);

1 HTF white spoon with flower embellishment on the handle and Fisher Price imprinted on the back of the handle (EXC+++-one possible faint tooth mark on the handle above the flower; this is pin-head size and extremely hard to see); and

1 RARE blue, yellow, purple, red, and green striped pot holder (VG++-EXC---unfortunately, the pot holder does not exhibit its original Fisher Price tag; the rest of the pot holder is in terrific condition; if the original Fisher Price tag was present, this pot holder would easily garner an EXC+++ rating).

This is a darling set and one that any preschool youngster would love to own. Fisher Price designed this set for children ages 3-7 years of age. Children under 3 years of age or still mouthing their toys should probably not be given this toy. Adult supervision is suggested if this set is given to children under 3 years of age.

NOTE: This play set is not a part of the recent recall of Fisher Price toys manufactured in China. The Alphabet Can and lid, pot holder, and sauce pan were all produced in the good ole' U.S.A. The alphabet soup strands and the orange ladle were manufactured in Korea. I could not discern a country of origin for the salt and pepper shakers; however, Fisher Price didn't start outsourcing to a large degree to other countries until after Mattel purchased the company in the early 1990's. The items contained in this set were manufactured by Fisher Price, a division of Quaker Oats; thus, they were not created in China.

I will be thoroughly Q-tip cleaning this playset and all of its accessories prior to sending it to its new owners. My playsets are IMMACULATE!

This particular offering weighs 12 oz. UNWRAPPED. My location is Lafayette, IN (47905). Since the wrapped weight will exceed 13 oz, I will not be able to send this via First Class Mail. Given its weight and size, the USPS (Priority or Parcel Post) will probably be your cheapest shipping alternatives.

I'm more than happy to combine multiple purchases into one shipment to save you money. I do NOT charge any materials or handling fees. All I ask is that you contact me so that I can combine all of your purchases onto one Invoice (to save me from multiple PayPal transaction fees and so that I can easily print out a shipping label through PayPal for your purchases). Please do not rely on Bonanza's shipping calculator as I'm finding it often overcharges the buyer on shipping---especially if you purchase multiple items. Of course, I will refund any shipping overcharge in excess of $1.00 to the buyer. However, it's easier on everyone if I can adjust the shipping values to the correct amount from the outset.

PayPal is the preferred manner of payment. All payments are due within 5 business days of the listing's conclusion.

I also accept bank-issued Cashier's Checks and Postal Money Orders. Due to my bank's policies, I am unable to ship your item until these forms of payment clear my bank (usually within 3 business days). Please contact me if you would like to pay via a Cashier's Check or a Postal Money Order.

Shipping Policy

The price listed is for the item itself. The total amount due will be the purchase price of the item + the ACTUAL shipping cost to deliver your item to you. All shipping costs or extra fees (in the case of Canadian shipments) are the responsibility of the buyer. I will do everything in my power to find you the cheapest shipping rate—-whether it’s the USPS (First Class, Parcel, or Priority), Fed Ex, or UPS. I DO NOT PAD MY SHIPPING COSTS—-NEVER HAVE AND NEVER WILL! I SHIP WITHIN 48 HOURS OF A CLEARED PAYMENT.

I primarily utilize Fed Ex Home Delivery for items exceeding 5 lbs. in weight, measuring greater than 12 inches in any dimension, or traveling longer distances. I’ve been finding Fed Ex has been running @33% cheaper than the USPS (including Parcel Post) and UPS Ground. FYI, another benefit of using either Fed Ex or UPS is that their quote includes up to $100 worth of FREE insurance. Additional amounts of insurance may be purchased for a nominal fee (that is much less than the USPS). Fed Ex also provides automated tracking updates re: your parcel’s whereabouts directly to your personal e-mail account.

In order to ship Fed Ex (or UPS for that matter), I MUST have a residential or work place address, NOT a P.O. Box number, as well as a home or cell phone. Otherwise, they will not accept the shipping paperwork or transport your item.

Since Bonanza's shipping calculator does NOT offer Fed Ex Home Delivery as a shipping option, PLEASE DO NOT SEND PAYMENT UNTIL I HAVE HAD AN OPPORTUNITY TO MANUALLY CHECK THESE RATES AND INSERT THEM INTO YOUR INVOICE. Otherwise, the shipping calculator may overcharge you.

Packages traveling to Alaska or Hawaii will be shipped Parcel Post via the USPS. Insurance and delivery confirmation are required.

I’m more than willing to combine multiple purchases into one box whenever it is safe to do so to decrease your shipping costs. Once again, PLEASE wait to check out until I can combine your purchases on ONE INVOICE and can calculate their combined shipping rate via Fed Ex. If you pay for these items separately, I get charged multiple transaction fees by PayPal plus you get over-charged on your shipping. Of course, I will refund you any amount over $1.00 that you've overpaid on shipping. However, it's easier on both of us if you wait until I can send you the correct amount.

I’m more than happy to ship selected play sets to Canada. Remember that shipping to Canada can be quite expensive so please contact me for a shipping quote before you purchase an item. I will attempt to find the cheapest shipping rate possible. Canadian customers will be responsible for any brokerage fees, Custom’s duties, or VAT’s imposed by your government. I am not responsible for these charges. Insurance is required for all international shipments.

Last, but not least, I offer a 10% discount for orders totaling $125.00 or more.

ALL SALES ARE FINAL. NO RETURNS ARE ACCEPTED. I have attempted to bring any noted "imperfections" to your attention prior to your purchasing the item. However, I'm only human. If I have missed something or you have a problem with your purchase, please contact me prior to leaving feedback.

Customer satisfaction is #1 for me. I try to provide outstanding service, high quality merchandise, and secure and expedient shipping.

Feedback is important and I will be happy to leave you feedback once I know everything has arrived safely and that you are pleased with your purchase. Leaving me feedback helps me gauge how well I'm doing and also serves the Bonanza community by directing them to sellers who proffer outstanding merchandise and service.
