Offered here is this nice Beautiful Antique Hand Stitched Courtship Scene, Done in Wool on what looks like some type of linen. The piece seems to be in good condition, particularly for a piece that dates to the 1880's. It does look like it has a few small snags and a couple of loose threads. It is framed in a simple frame. It has been well protected by the frame. The frame is in good condition, and is holding together well, however, it does have a lot of surface scratches on it. The back is taped on, and it is coming loose, as is the glass in front of the art piece. The entire piece, including the frame, is 17.25" wide and 14" tall. It is a beautiful hand stitched piece, and makes a great piece of artwork, or could be used as a tapestry, although it is small for that purpose. It is a gorgeous piece.
