Nice Vintage Flashed Amber Glass Lamp Base, GOOD CONDITION, LOOKS OLDER

You are bidding on this Vintage Flashed Amber Glass Lamp Base. I am unsure of the age or origins of the lamp base. The glass is in good condition, in that there are no chips or cracks in the glass, but the amber flashing is scratched and/or coming off in many places, exposing the clear color glass. The lamp base is also not wired. The metal seems to be a brass plated steel, or possibly a thick tin. The lamp base is 9.5" tall, the metal part is 5" in diameter, and the glass base is 9.5" in diameter. It is a nice vintage, interesting lamp base, in need of some TLC, and could clean up to be a beautiful piece. It would make a great restoration project for someone.
