Harry Howell - NY Rangers 8x10 Autographed Photograph (with Certificate of Authenticity)
|
This is an authentic 8"x10" autographed photo (unframed) of Harry Howell. It is signed with blue sharpie.
For 17 seasons – and 1,160 games – defenseman Harry Howell was “Mr. Reliable” for the New York Rangers. No one played more games for the Blueshirts than Harry Howell. That record has now stood for more than 30 years. Howell patrolled the Rangers’ blueline, starting in 1952. He was a First Team All-Star and captured the Norris Trophy as the NHL’s top defenseman in 1966-67, while playing in seven All-Star Games throughout his career. Following his New York days, Howell played four more NHL campaigns for the Oakland Seals and the Los Angeles Kings, plus three different teams in the old World Hockey Association. All told, his playing career spanned 1,581 big league games. He was also general manager of the Cleveland Barons and briefly coached the Minnesota North Stars.
In 1979, he was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame.
Photographs are protected and shipped in polypropylene sleeves.
