loc cf500 back door One video monitor and one PanaVise mount as shown. NOTE THIS IS NOT A TV ANYMORE! Read all before bidding!
Modified for custom setups.
These were custom modified for Mobile vision police camera security systems.
They are still good for custom backup cameras or other small security monitor, video editor monitor etc.
They have been modified with a single cable input that you custom builder tech people can add connectors as needed.
That cable has bare end with wires for: Power (6v DC) input, audio and video inputs, (see the wire color list in pictures)
There is no connector on end ( If you need one with the original Mobile Vision multipin connector, contact us first, as we may have some left. )
The battery compartment is not usable, as there is an extra filter capacitor in that space now. We do not have the cover, you can put a bit of black tape over it if you want.
These are rated for 6 VDC 3.2w (we measured .45amp at 6v) . We connected a variable power supply and found it worked down to 2.5 volts (but got dimmer as voltage was decreased) we also tried up to 12vDC, it worked on 12V but an internal regulator or resistor module started to get hot, so we would not recommend running on 12V. We are not sure of upper limit on voltage. Use 5 or 6V to be safe. (most phone chargers and USB chargers are 5 VDC)
We measured .35amps at 5V so there could be some USB powered applications or use cell phone chargers. We may come up with some optional add on power supplies later (120v or car charger) But none is included at this point.
These no longer get TV reception (the "Off/UHF/VHF" switch on side basically now turns unit on or off)and there is no antenna
The volume and contrast knobs still function as intended.
There is a built in speaker and an earphone jack.
In our sample pictures, we connected a simple video camera as the source using alligator clips to bare wires, (alligator clips not included) We recommend splicing in an RCA or BNC cable to the existing wire end.
They each come with a PanaVise mount 6" long, looks to be model 717-06 with an added L plate on bottom you can take apart and use the mount for cell phones etc. These mounts sell for $20-25 ea alone!
