Bloody Mary #2 Forget Me Not Toothpick Holder by Degenhart Glass Company
Mrs. Degenhart made wonderful colored glass items in her shop in Cambridge, Ohio until her death in 1979, Her will stipulated that her mark could no longer be used.
The color of this Degenhart Forget Me Not toothpick holder is called Bloody Mary #2, a creamy tomato slag glass color.
Shown in the book: Degenhart Glass and Paperweights by Gene Florence on pages 70 and 71.
It has 3 ornate curved legs looking like palms, 5 petal flowers around the rim and a interior hexagon dimpled body.
This is one of so many beautiful colors made by Elizabeth Degenhart.
It does not bear the typical D in Heart signature, The makers mark was not added until 1972.
When Boyd's Crystal Art Glass purchased the mold after Degenhart the mark was removed and Bernard Boyd added the B inside a Diamond mark.
This toothpick measures approximately 2-1/2" tall x 2 3/8" diameter.

Pristine Condition: No chips, cracks, discoloration, fleabites, nicks, repairs, scratches or stains.
There may/may not be some tiny embedded bubbles and/or straw marks (creases) which is normal with glass from this era.
