Authentic vintage 1998 The Cat's Meow Village Plimoth Plantation Series wooden collectible 5 piece set features handcrafted 3/4" thick wooden replicas of various historic homes and scenes that colorfully portray life of the 17th century English colonists who settled at Plymouth, Massachusetts in 1627.

Set includes: 

• Milking Goat - Printed on the back: Goats were common in new colonies because of their hardiness, ability to forage and good milk   


• Myles Standish Home - Printed on the back:  Veteran soldier Myles Standish, military commander of New Plymouth, arrived in 1620 on the Mayflower. He shared this home with his wife, Barbara and their three sons. 


• John Alden Home - Printed on the back: John Alden served as the cooper aboard the Mayflower. He married Priscilla Mullins, also a Mayflower passenger and settled in this home.


• Francis Cooke Home - Printed on the back: Francis Cooke arrived on the Mayflower in 1620 with his son, John. His wife, Hester, who was a Walloon Protestant, followed in 1623 with the rest of the family.

  Samuel Fuller Home - Printed on the back: Samuel Fuller, a deacon in the non-conformist church, was surgeon to the colony. In 1623, he was joined by his wife, Bridget, who was skilled in midwifery.
