Vintage original 27x40 in. US double-sided advance one-sheet poster from the epically popular 2000's Academy Award-winning animated superhero action/adventure film, THE INCREDIBLES, released in 2004 by Buena Vista Pictures and directed by Brad Bird. In this co-production between Pixar Animation Studios and Walt Disney Pictures, a family of undercover superheroes, while trying to live the quiet suburban life, are forced into action to save the world. The film features the voices of Craig T. Nelson, Holly Hunter, Samuel L. Jackson, Jason Lee, and Dominique Louis.

This is the film's double-sided advance one-sheet, which was issued for display inside of a light box at theaters before the film was released. The design features the film's main characters as well as a humorous insert in the bottom right corner ("All hero suits designed by EDNA MODE"). Unrestored and rolled as originally issued, this vintage original double-sided advance one-sheet is in very fine+ condition without any pinholes, tears, stains, or other flaws.

The Incredibles was a huge hit when it came out and it eventually won two Academy Awards, "Best Achievement in Sound Editing" and the coveted "Best Animated Feature Film of the Year."

Lily Tomlin was considered for the part of Edna Mode, but turned it down when she heard Brad Bird's vocal performance, saying, "What do you need me for? You got it already." Clothing, with its textures, weaving and stitching, is notoriously difficult to achieve in computer animation. Given that there are over ninety-five different outfits worn by the characters in the film, a tailor was brought in to the studio to explain the intricacies of clothes design. Because of the complexity of calculation the vast number of polygons plus the lighting and translucence, the weave of fabrics are only seen up-close, with lower resolution solid shapes are used for clothing in medium-distance and long shots.
