Gorgeous repousse chunky brooch.  Unsigned Whiting and Davis but has the patent number for Whiting Davis as well as the signature bar that is wider in the center.  Whiting Davis began marking their jewelry in 1927, so this patent piece is in that era.  The brooch has a dramatic flower and curled leaves that intertwine.  The two layer hollow brooch weighs 22.81 grams.  The antiqued finish is lovely.    

The brooch is approx 2" x 2.25" with a well working circle catch.  A very sweet accent and collector's piece.
