A delightful, vintage offset lithographic print, signed and dated in plate.
Every artist has a theme, Cornish Artist Zoe Stokes, that theme is definitely cats,
Fat cats, thin cats, black cats or tabby cats, playful cats, hostile cats, mischievous
or good cats...here is a richly colored, humorous and touching
treasury of our feline population!
This endearing print called (The May Queen) is from a collection of Zoe Stokes famous cat illustrations published in the early 1980 s.
Every picture tells a story, and Zoe's narrative relates to the-life incidents that inspired
each delightful painting. The charm of her witty, finely detailed watercolors and the originality of her style
and ideas will delight all and bring long lasting pleasure to cat lovers everywhere!
The Sharp, Unfaded image is, printed on quality semi-gloss paper
(with no sign of foxing e.t.c.). This print has nice margins all around,
making it suitable for matting and/or framing.
The page measures approximately, 19.4cm x 21cm (7.5" x 8.5").
The image dimensions are approximately, 15.2cm x 11.5cm (6" x 4-1/2").
The listing image (above) is a scan of the ACTUAL print that the buyer will receive.
There is a small cat image printed on the reverse side.
The image is very very slightly visible through the front of the print,
when held up to the light, but you will NOT see this when matted /or framed
This print would look stunning matted and framed (not included).
Please note that all my art prints are vintage or antique originals, unless stated.
The print comes inside a (alkali free) clear sealed polythene bag and is sent in a hard backed, "please do not bend" envelope.
