This is a vintage original 27x41 in. US one-sheet poster from the classic 1960's mystery/thriller drama, THE YELLOW CANARY, released in 1963 by 20th Century-Fox and directed by Buzz Kulik. Based upon the novel, Evil Come, Evil Go, by Whit Masterson, Andy (Pat Boone) is an arrogant pop singer about to be divorced by his wife (Barbara Eden), who treats his staff badly. On the same night he starts a job at a theater in Los Angeles, his infant son is kidnapped. Despite requests from the lead police officer on the case, Lieutenant Bonner (Jack Klugman), Paxton plays along with the kidnappers as they string him along, even though they are willing to kill. The cast includes Steve Forrest, JJesse, White and Joe Turkel.

Unrestored and folded as originally issued, this vintage original one-sheet was used for display in Canada and features a Canadian censor stamp in the bottom left panel. It is in very fine- condition a tiny area of separation at the bottom center crossfold; three v-shaped creases on either end of the bottom horizontal foldline on the borders; and light signs of random wear on the corners. There are no pinholes, tears, stains, or other flaws and the color tints are fresh and vibrant without any signs of fading.

The gold records on display in Andy's home appear to be Pat Boone's own, as they all bear the Dot label, which was Boone's recording company at the time.
