GARNET or Amethyst CROSS PENDANT Necklace Vintage Goldtone Christian Religious 18"

This is a vintage CROSS PENDANT with an oval GARNET or AMETHYST STONE Necklace!

In a goldtone metal, this vintage necklace holds a CROSS Pendant that has an Oval Cut Red to Purple stone at the center.  It was identified as a garnet when purchased, but it seems to have more of a purple tone, possibly it is amethyst.

The stone does have some imperfections or inclusions if looked at very closely, with a magnifying glass, but this is not really seen when the necklace is worn.

STONES : Oval Cut Garnet or Amethyst -- red with a  purple tint, has some inclusions. 

METAL : Goldtone

CLASP:  Spring Ring

MEASUREMENTS : 18" in length chain, 1 1/8" in length Cross pendant

CONDITION: This piece of jewelry is in pre-owned and vintage used condition. The clasp is in full working order. The stone does have some dark spots or inclusions in it.  There is a bit of  scratching and finish wear present.
