Nice old plate with a portrait of Victorian lady Konigin Louise. After a painting by Gustav Karl Lugwig Richter. The plate is 10 1/4 inches, very good condition. I can see a few very minor scratches in the paint, the gold is in very good condition. France stamp on back of plate as well what looks like number 20 in gold. There is a lot of crazing on the plate.
A little info on the queen.

Queen Louise was born Louise Auguste Wilhelmine Amalie in 1776 in Hanover. In 1793, she met the crown prince of Prussia, later to become King Frederick William III. Deeply impressed by her beauty and nobility of character, Frederick William proposed to her. They were married the same year. As Queen of Prussia, she commanded universal respect and affection. During the war between France and Prussia, Napoleon Bonaparte attempted to destroy the queen's reputation, but the effect in Prussia was to make her even more deeply beloved. She died at the very young age of 34
