LIFE'S COVER: "FALL FASHIONS" -- The girl on LIFE'S cover this week is wearing a new necklace devised by Michael Paul, jewelry designer for Hattie Carnegie, to go with the new fashions (pp. 115 -- 125). Like most professional models she has a name with memory value. It is Truly Barbara (her real name is Barbara Louise Heine).
