***Wild West Organics Organic Coriander Seeds***
Cilantro appears to have come from southern Europe in the Mediterranean region or northern Africa. From there it was brought to North America around the 1500's appearing in Mexico first, probably transported there by the Spanish conquistadors, and later spread throughout the United States.
Today, cilantro can be found growing in areas such as the southwestern United States, Mexico, Thailand, India, and China.
Cilantro is also called coriander or Chinese parsley. Coriander refers to the seeds of cilantro, and cilantro is the Spanish word for coriander and generally refers to the leaves of the plant
Wild West Organics organic coriander seeds were selected from carefully nurtured and organically grown cilantro. I hand harvested them from my sunny Arizona garden plot. Here, the average annual temperature is 70.9 F.
These seeds germinate in 10 to 14 days and matures to a slender, stalky plant that is light green, and has soft foilage. It is an annual herb.
The lush looking cilantro plants can grow between 18 to 24 inches in height with favorable growing conditions. Cilantro thrives when it receives full sun and is planted in well drained, moist soil.
