From an estate sale of an Asian art collector, a flower and a bird shadow box.

This piece is truly amazing. The entire piece is made of cut and sculpted bird feathers. Even the beak, branches (the branches are especially amazing), flower petals and leaves.

It is hand signed by the artist and has a red stamp.

Time had played its trick with this piece of art. Some branches and leaves became detached within the box and move, if you change box position. There are a few nicks to the dark cherry colored lacquer frame. White background have yellowish stains (one would wonder how it got there). Blue colored wood have some hairline cracks. However, the little bird is a picture-perfect: delicate wings, legs and beak are all intact and retain it's beautiful colors. I have included photos for better description.

shadow box and the piece measures 9 3/4" x 7" x 1".

There is a gold-colored wall hanging hardware. Back of the box has numbers 116-158 (not sure what's that represent).

Overall condition could be "good" considering its age.

As with any antique and vintage pieces, I try to describe it to the best of my knowledge. However, I'm not an expert. So, you be the judge. Ask questions, see pictures.
