Item Condition (PLEASE READ "STORY" FOR FULL DETAILS)

Unused item - The item should be fine and complete.  However the PACKING BOX might be lousy (could be dirty or torn up or in rare instances or gotten moist from humidity in warehouse or a minor roof leak).  And there 30% chance this item will probably need to be repackaged for shipping, but the item inside the box is not used and is being sold as complete, and in new or like new condition. In some small number of cases it could have been a customer return item, and/or there could be very minor scuffs on metal pieces from rubbing in the cardboard box or against other parts in the box or from being moved around in various warehouses or from previous shipping. But this is pretty rare. 

My father and I have audited hundreds of these items for local sales recently and well over 90-95% have been perfect except for the shipping box being lousy.  Most are still sealed prior to us opening them for inspections.

STORY and ITEM CONDITION TERMS:

- My father and I acquired a massive bankruptcy liquidation recently of tens of thousands of truck accessories from one of the largest truck accessory and customization companies in the country.  My father works full time as an engineer and mortgaged the house and everything to buy the contents of this 24,000 sq foot warehouse full of accessories that we moved from KY/TN in semi's to Alabama

He wants me to earn my college money and I plan selling this stuff to pay him back and pay my college expenses.  So it is just ME trying to sell these items (and locally), and I am working 10+ hours a day to try to do it, plus attending college to get an engineering degree..

I have no way to open 20,000+ items, check them out take pictures etc and then list them so I am doing the best I can to find a way to sell this stuff to you (instead of just local sales), and I have come up with what I believe is a unique way to be fair and no risk to my buyers and offer more customers a great deal.

So in the spirit of the original which offered folks great deals on something other than retail store perfect boxes at full retail or internet prices (when the packing box gets thrown away anyway), here is the way I am selling MOST of the items from this bankruptcy aquisition , including this item, and it will be very simple and save you some cash!:

What I am offering for sale in this ad will be assumed to meet the generic description stated above.  I will promise to carefully check the item personally for completeness, condition, and any potential issues before shipping it!   If as I expect the item meets the description and is fine, I'll ship it out, usually within 48 business hours and it will be like any normal sale.  This should be the case in well over 90-95% of items.

If in the rare instance there are any issues worth mentioning such as missing parts that I cannot get replaced in a timely fashion, blemishes, scratches, or shipping damage to the item that could affect functionality or be seen when installed OR signs of prior usage (meaning insstalled and used for more than a few hours),  I will contact you within 48 business hours of the sale and provide details and/or pictures of the issue.  Then I will either offer a full refund or an appropriate discount, or an alternative of equal or more value (YOUR CHOICE!!!).  

In the rare situation something is found to be an issue, I will not send the item until getting confirmation from you to do so.  SO NO RISK TO YOU AS FAR AS THE CONDITION!!!

Alternatively,  If you send me a message to evaluate a specific item before purchasing it, I will pull it from storage, and get you specific condition and detail information and update the ad.  Please include your name and phone number in case I need to try to discuss the condition in detail.  I'll try to do this within 48 hours, but actual sales and my schoolwork have to take precedence.  Note it usually requires about 30 minutes to 1 hour to fully check out many of the items fully so I do need to prioritize requests..


What I want to assure you is that your purchase will be virtually no risk unless Fedex damages it in shipping which can happen with any sale, and we fully insure each shipment at no cost to you. Worst case scenario is that I'll need to have you request we cancel the sale for a full refund.

In return all I ask from you is to understand the situation and be fair and not mad or ding me at me if I discover an item has an issue BEFORE shipment, and thus we need to work out a cancellation or a discount or replacment, which should be less than 5% of all situations. 

If you are not advised of an issues prior to shipment, then all my normal terms and conditions apply !!!! 

Note as stated above, I expect < 5% of  all items to have any issues worth contacting you about and even in those cases it is usually just a small scratch or ding or we may need to order you a replacement part that my require some ordering time.<2% have any issues where i would expect you would want to cancel a sale, if that helps in making a decision to do business with

not beacuse I am a jerk or sell bad items (just look at my feedback after over 2000 sales over many years), but the cost of shipment is just so high on most of my items, Typically $30-$70 per item one way,

Payment due within 7 days.  After 4 days will open an unpaid buyer case, but if paid within 7 days this causes no harm and closes automatically when paymant is received.  After 7 days the case will be closed and the item will be relisted, unless you make arrangements to extend the payment period due to some hardship.

If I make a mistake and send the wrong item, or there is any significant difference between the items condition and what I advertise I will accept a return or work with you on a satisfactory resolution.  

Otherwise, All Sales are Final!  I do not offer returns if you order the wrong item, you change your mind, you decide you do not like the item, or any other reason that is not my fault.  This is not to be mean or that I sell items that are low quality, but rather it is due to the high cost of shipping and my margins are so low already.  So please make sure you do your research and know what you want prior to ordering.  If you have any questions or need help, please contact us.  We will check the item further, get you pictures, try to assist in determining proper fitment, etc so you feel comfortable with your purchase.

I do purchase full fedex or USPS insurance for all items in case they get damaged.  This is at my cost to protect you!

Ensuring proper fitment and compatability is the buyers responsibility!!! Please do your research as sometimes this can be tricky and's compatability chart can have errors that I cannot control.  If there is any concern about fitment, I highly recommend discussing it with the maunfacturer before ordering.

General note:  Most of my items have damaged or distressed shipping boxes, and in some cases they could be a customer return. But I check out 100% of the items for completeness, and any issues that could affect functionality or cosmetic issues. Unless problems are noted in the ads description, there should not be any issues with your item.  I pack or repack the items pretty well and rarely have issues with shipping damage.


We are a 2 person father and son operation that for over 10 years have specialized in finding and buying truckloads, liquidation deals, and items with distressed packaging, that allows us to offer great deals to our customers both locally and .

For the past 6 years we have focused on Truck and Automotive Customization Accessories, and have significant expertise with these items, and even offer local installation.  Especially nerf bars, running boards, tonneau bed covers, and trailer hitches.  In recent years we have acquired about 23,000 square feet of accessories totaling more than 15,000 items.  Only a small  fraction are as it takes considerable time to check these items thoroughly, and get them posted.  In some cases shipping can be a considerable expense.  But if you don't see something that you are interested in, please contact us and we'll see what we can do to help you out!  

Most of our "new-other" items are perfect or nearly perfect, and simply have distressed or missing shipping boxes. We validate you will get what is expected (complete, functionally perfect, and nothing more than extremely minor scuffs/scratches during our initial inspection and again at final inspection that is performed right before final packing and shipping).  If there is any "substanative" cosmetic issues, it will be described in the ad explicitly.  In very rare instances items can get damaged in our warehouse or while doing final packing and if that occurs we will promptly contact you and offer a full refund and have you simply ask to cancel the sale, or at your option, an appropriate discount will be given if you still want the item.  The point being we will not knowingly ship any item that is not as advertised, and you will not get stuck getting junk like with many other open box sellers. 

A small percentage of items are customer returns, but we often have no way of knowing the items history, and most previous returns are simply due to people ordering the wrong item for their vehicle compatibility.  

 Most of our items are posted as New-other due to the box being opened by us or someone else, some packing box distress, or insignificant cosmetic issue that prevents it from being listed as "new".  Nothing we post as "New-other" has any indication that it has been "Used",  

Note: a customer removing an item from a box and attempting to install it or changing their mind is not considered being "used" in terms.  Being "used" consists of some indication that the item was placed into service for a couple days and has some kind of wear/tear/fading,fraying,road dings/dirt, etc from" being in service", Items we get with these indications are generally not placed and if in rare instances they are listed, they are listed in the "used" category.

We also just recently (January  2017) have formed some relationships with major accessory manufacturers for distressed box items, and customer returns that they and us have validated as being as good as new before we ship to you.  Also for the the first time we are becoming dealers for some new items starting (June 2017).
