Unused item - The item should be fine and complete. However the PACKING BOX might be lousy (could be dirty or torn up or in rare instances or gotten moist from humidity in warehouse or a minor roof leak). And there 30% chance this item will probably need to be repackaged for shipping, but the item inside the box is not used and is being sold as complete, and in new or like new condition. In some small number of cases it could have been a customer return item, and/or there could be very minor scuffs on metal pieces from rubbing in the cardboard box or against other parts in the box or from being moved around in various warehouses or from previous shipping. But this is pretty rare.
My father and I have audited hundreds of these items for local sales recently and well over 90-95% have been perfect except for the shipping box being lousy. Most are still sealed prior to us opening them for inspections.

STORY and ITEM CONDITION TERMS:
- My father and I acquired a massive bankruptcy liquidation recently of tens of thousands of truck accessories from one of the largest truck accessory and customization companies in the country. My father works full time as an engineer and mortgaged the house and everything to buy the contents of this 24,000 sq foot warehouse full of accessories that we moved from KY/TN in semi's to Alabama.
He wants me to earn my college money and I plan selling this stuff to pay him back and pay my college expenses. So it is just ME trying to sell these items (and locally), and I am working 10+ hours a day to try to do it, plus attending college to get an engineering degree..
I have no way to open 20,000+ items, check them out take pictures etc and then list them so I am doing the best I can to find a way to sell this stuff to you (instead of just local sales), and I have come up with what I believe is a unique way to be fair and no risk to my buyers and offer more customers a great deal.
So in the spirit of the original which offered folks great deals on something other than retail store perfect boxes at full retail or internet prices (when the packing box gets thrown away anyway), here is the way I am selling MOST of the items from this bankruptcy aquisition , including this item, and it will be very simple and save you some cash!:
What I am offering for sale in this ad will be assumed to meet the generic description stated above. I will promise to carefully check the item personally for completeness, condition, and any potential issues before shipping it! If as I expect the item meets the description and is fine, I'll ship it out, usually within 48 business hours and it will be like any normal sale. This should be the case in well over 90-95% of items.
If in the rare instance there are any issues worth mentioning such as missing parts that I cannot get replaced in a timely fashion, blemishes, scratches, or shipping damage to the item that could affect functionality or be seen when installed OR signs of prior usage (meaning insstalled and used for more than a few hours), I will contact you within 48 business hours of the sale and provide details and/or pictures of the issue. Then I will either offer a full refund or an appropriate discount, or an alternative of equal or more value (YOUR CHOICE!!!).
In the rare situation something is found to be an issue, I will not send the item until getting confirmation from you to do so. SO NO RISK TO YOU AS FAR AS THE CONDITION!!!
Alternatively, If you send me a message to evaluate a specific item before purchasing it, I will pull it from storage, and get you specific condition and detail information and update the ad. Please include your name and phone number in case I need to try to discuss the condition in detail. I'll try to do this within 48 hours, but actual sales and my schoolwork have to take precedence. Note it usually requires about 30 minutes to 1 hour to fully check out many of the items fully so I do need to prioritize requests..
What I want to assure you is that your purchase will be virtually no risk unless Fedex damages it in shipping which can happen with any sale, and we fully insure each shipment at no cost to you. Worst case scenario is that I'll need to have you request we cancel the sale for a full refund.
In return all I ask from you is to understand the situation and be fair and not mad or ding me at me if I discover an item has an issue BEFORE shipment, and thus we need to work out a cancellation or a discount or replacment, which should be less than 5% of all situations.
If you are not advised of an issues prior to shipment, then all my normal terms and conditions apply !!!!
Note as stated above, I expect < 5% of all items to have any issues worth contacting you about and even in those cases it is usually just a small scratch or ding or we may need to order you a replacement part that my require some ordering time.<2% have any issues where i would expect you would want to cancel a sale, if that helps in making a decision to do business with
not beacuse I am a jerk or sell bad items (just look at my feedback after over 2000 sales over many years), but the cost of shipment is just so high on most of my items, Typically $30-$70 per item one way,
