For gripping action at its best, “Am Legend” on Blu-ray disc, does not disappoint. Starring Will Smith as the scientist Robert Neville, the story tells how a dreadful, man-made virus seemingly wiped out most of mankind, leaving just him and some insane mutant victims who only come out at night to hunt. Somehow, he has immunity to the virus, so desperately seeks to find a way to reverse the symptoms of the infected. This edition of “I Am Legend” includes both the original and alternate versions as well as bonus material, including behind-the-scenes footage and the scientific history behind the theme of the movie.
