ON DVD or VHS: BLACK CAVIAR's highly anticipated 2013 return as a 6-year-old...keeps her unbeaten record intact!

After nearly an eight-month layoff since her nail-biting victory at Royal Ascot, undefeated sprinter BLACK CAVIAR launches her long-awaited comeback at Flemington in a race named in her honor, the BLACK CAVIAR Lightning Stakes.

Emerging with torn muscles and ligaments after battling French group 1 winner, MOONLIGHT CLOUD, for a desperate nose win in the Diamond Jubilee Stakes in June of 2012, BLACK CAVIAR prepared to begin the final campaign of her racing career for 2013. "She's in the best physical shape injury-wise that she's ever been in," trainer Peter Moody told Australia's Associated Press.

Seven horses lined up on 2/16/13 to face the 6-year-old BEL ESPRIT mare, who bid to win a record third straight Lightning Stakes and to take her untarnished record to 23 straight wins.

Here's the all-star field for the 2013 BLACK CAVIAR Lightning Stakes (Group 1, 3&Up, $516,000, 1000M or 5F):
