This set of Dancing Pigs salt and pepper shakers are American Bisque Co./American Pottery Co.  For a number of years, the American Pottery Company was co-owned by A.N. Allen and J.B. Lenhart.  Allen was also the sole owner of the American Bisque Company where J.B. Lenhart worked as a sales manager.  Because of these close connections, we get an interchange of products between the two companies:  American Bisque Company, (ABC) Williamstown, West Virginia, 1919-1982 and American Pottery Company, (APCO) Marietta, Ohio, 1944-1965.

The indented polka dots and the wedge on the bottom of each piece identify American Bisque Pottery.  Considering their age, they are in good condition; the features and the coloring are good, especially on the faces.  There is some crazing and one has a chip under the ruffle on her skirt.  Not sure if the corks are original.

The measurements are: 5 inches tall, 3 1/2 inches deep, and 3 1/2 inches wide.
