This is an adorable vintage pair of Fitz and Floyd Tumbling Ballerina Pigs from 1979. These cute little smiling girl pigs are both dressed in yellow tutus and ballet shoes. The little pigs stand upside down on their heads in the midst of doing a tumbling somersault. They measure approximately 3 inches tall and 2 ½ inches wide. These are not signed and have no markings. At one time they had paper labels on the top of their heads that read Handpainted FF Japan. I think my Mom removed them because she often let them stay on their backs as I have shown in one of the photos.

One of the pigs has a tiny chip on the back of the skirt that has been repaired (see picture with arrow). It was not a great repair, but luckily it is on the back in an area you don't really see. The other has a tiny brown spot on the forehead, this is not damage, but from the original firing of the piece.

These would make a great addition to any pig collection. They would also be so cute sitting on the dresser of any young dancer's bedroom.
