I’m not a collector, but I’ve inherited a toy collection from a very meticulous collector. According to his records, he purchased this toy new in 1998. It’s made in China by Yutaka which is a subsidiary of Bandai. Measure about 7” tall and is made of hard plastic or vinyl. Both toy, inserts and box are in new condition. I just took it out of the box to make sure it’s all there, other than that, it's been stored indoors and untouched. When I push the switch on the back the red light in the chest barely lights up and the toy makes a growling noise, but it needs a new battery, but I’m not sure how to access it. I see there are screws in the back of the figure, but it doesn't look like it would open up.
