? The pendant features a symbol of The DHARMA Initiative's Swan Station, which was also known as The Hatch.
? Station 3 was discovered by Locke and Boone in the 1 st season, who referred to it as "the hatch".
? DHARMA Initiative built The Swan in the 1970's. It was equipped with a flip-card timer, which was controlled by a computer and connected to an alarm system. The computer reset the timer through manual entry of a numeric code "4-8-15-16-23-42" every 108 minutes and pressing an "Execute" button.
