SINGER SEWING LIBRARY No. 1 SHORT CUTS TO HOME SEWING No. 2 HOW TO MAKE DRESSES No. 3 HOW TO MAKE CHILDREN'S CLOTHES No. 4 HOW TO MAKE DRAPERIES... by Mary B. Picken - Published by Singer Sewing Machine Co., 1930-1934 - Condition: Very Good+ in Good case These four booklets - two them having 48 pages and two with 64 pages - were originally published separately in the 1920s. In the early 1930s they were re-issued as a set in a printed slip-case. The covers on the booklets are stapled, with all- or partly-colored front covers and the Singer logo on the back. Each volume contains many small b&w illustrations and diagrams accompanying the text. Overall, there is just some light wear and darkening on the covers; the pages are very nice, with virtually no discernable wear. The top of the case has a piece missing and there's a long tear on the bottom front, as well as other wear, mainly on the edges. But the case is still solid enough to house the booklets quite securely. This set, with all four booklets and the original case, is very scarce.
