The Leaf Insect is one of the largest species of leaf insects that can be kept as a pet. In nature it can be found in tropical forest in Indonesia. These species consist of only females. Females will lay unfertilized eggs, that will give rise to new females. Other older names for this species include Grand Surprise and White Petticoat.
