Cinnabsin® is a homeopathic complex medicine composed of a unique combination of 4 single ingredients. 1 tablet (=250 mg) contains:

Active ingredients:

o    25.0 mg Cinnabaris D3 trit.

o    25.0 mg Hydrastis D3 trit.

o    25.0 mg Kalium bichromicum D3 trit.

o    25.0 mg Echinacea D1 trit.

Cinnabaris is very effective in relieving typical complaints of sinus inflammation such as dull headache, drowsiness, watering of the eyes and neuralgic facial pain. Sinus headache is typically felt in the forehead and vertex and characterized by an uneasy pressing sensation.

Hydrastis has beneficial effects on inflamed mucous membranes with constant and profuse, yellow, thick and stringy discharges. Furthermore, it is helpful in conditions with dull and pressing frontal headache arising from catarrh.

Kalium bichromicum is indicated in the treatment of subacute inflammations of respiratory organs, i.e. nose, paranasal sinuses, throat, pharynx, larynx and bronchi. Kalium bichromicum effectively reduces purulent nasal discharges and congestion of the nose. It is also helpful in violent sinus headache with dull, heavy pain above the eyebrows which typically arises when nasal discharges are blocked.

Echinacea is indicated for the treatment of rhinosinusitis with foul-smelling discharges and post-nasal catarrh with sore and ulcerated mucous membranes. In addition to this, Echinacea stimulates and strengthens the body's self-defence mechanisms.

Cinnabsin® - How to use

Cinnabsin® is easy to take anywhere and anytime since there is no need to swallow; the tablets dissolve quickly within the mouth with a pleasant flavour.

Keeping the tablets for a while in the mouth allows the active ingredients of Cinnabsin®to be absorbed by the mucous membranes.

Tipp: 
Please start taking Cinnabsin® straightaway as soon as you notice first symptoms. To achieve optimum effectiveness you should take Cinnabsin® frequently and regularly

Children? 12 years and adults

Acute condition: (i.e. until improvement occurs)

o    1 tablet / hour (max. 12 times a day) until onset of improvement

Subsequent dose:(i.e. after improvement occurred)

o    1 - 2 tablets 3 times a day until complete recovery

Chronic condition:(i.e. until improvement occurs)

o    1 tablet 3 times a day for 6 weeks in 2 treatment cycles per year (relapse prevention)

In children < 12 years, it is recommended to take Cinnabsin® as follows:

Children 2 - 5 years

Acute condition:

o    1 tablet 3 times a day until complete recovery

Chronic condition:

o    1 tablet 3 times a day for 6 weeks in 2 treatment cycles per year (relapse prevention)

Children 6 - 11 years

Acute condition:

o    Initial dose: 1 tablet every 2 hours (max.6 times a day) until onset of improvement

Subsequent dose:

o    1 tablet 3 times a day until complete recovery

Chronic condition:

o    1 tablet 3 times a day for 6 weeks in 2 treatment cycles per year (relapse prevention)

The dosage recommendation of Cinnabsin® starts with children of 2 years.* As the development of the paranasal sinuses follows a specific chronological order, children below 2 years of age have – if at all – only very small sinuses, thus sinusitis occurs very rarely or never in this age group.
