| The Holiday is a touching romance movie about two decidedly different women leading lives on different sides of the world. Iris lives in England and realizes that the man she loves is going to marry another woman. Amanda lives in California and has just dumped her cheating boyfriend. With Christmas holiday approaching, the two women meet up on an online house swap site and decide stay at each other’s home during Christmas for a much-needed change of scenery. In The Holiday, these two women discover that romance and true love is closer than they might think. Amanda meets and instantly falls in love with Iris’ charming brother, while Iris gets involved with a passionate music composer who is struggling with his own failing relationship. This DVD is a heartwarming tale of Christmas cheer and leaves viewers feeling as if true love can conquer all obstacles in its path.
